9. Young Gun in the Time
Genre filmmaking is serious business in Korea and few take it more seriously than emerging filmmaker Oh young-doo. Though aside from his ample talent, Oh is also armed with a great deal of humor. Packed with references and charged with his love of cinema, his new film features a wacky private eye who becomes involved in a mystery involving a time machine. Young Gun in the Time is b-moviemaking at its finest. Wild and passionate, fun and colorful, thrilling and clever, this is one neo-sci-fi noir you won’t want to miss.
