What is it? The new drama by Lee Yoon-ki (My Dear Enemy, 2008), about a love affair in Finland between Jeon Do-yeon (Secret Sunshine, 2007) and Gong Yoo (The Suspect, 2013).
Why is it a contender? Though Lee hasn’t been to Cannes before, he’s had three films in Berlin and his star Jeon has both won a Cannes award and featured on last year’s jury.
Will it be ready? It’s in the middle of its production right now so it might be a little tight.
