10. Pluto (2012)
The first entry on this list takes a look at an exaggerated revenge plot that stems from the harsh educational system in Korea. The most recent film on this list, Pluto is the brilliant sophomore work of Shin Su-won (Passerby #3, 2010). Given that she spent a long time working as a school teacher, this revenge narrative hits particularly close to home for her. Her outrage comes through loud and clear, in the form of a high school outcast surrogate.
Wonderfully stylistic, not to mention very timely, Pluto uses the excess of Korean revenge narratives to its advantage but never goes overboard. This one may not be available to you just yet but it shouldn't be too long before you can get your hands on it.
