The group also voted the film's star, Chun Woo-hee, as last year's Best Actress, while veteran Choi Min-sik was deemed Best Actor for his performance in the record-breaking period smash Roaring Currents.
The Best Supporting Actor and Actress accolades went to Yoo Hae-jin for The Pirates and Obsessed's Jo Yeo-jeong. Haemoo's Park Yu-chun, a member of Kpop group JYJ, was chosen as Best New Actor. The hit documentary My Love, Don’t Cross That River, which became the most successful Korean indie of all time after attracting over 4.5 million viewers, received the Best Indie Film award, while sci-fi blockbuster Interstellar was selected as the year's Best Foreign Film.
Though the association announced the recipients on Monday, the awards ceremony will take place later this week on Thursday.
