Korean Title: 청포도 사탕: 17년 전의 약속
Director:  Kim Hee-jeong
Cast:  Park Jin-hee, Park Ji-yoon, Kim Jeong-nan, Choi Won-young
Synopsis:  A story of women trying to get over their past traumas.
Release date:  September 6

Had been featured at a number of film festivals this year, including Warsaw and Cinema Digital Seoul (CinDi).




Pieta


Korean Title: 피에타
Director:  Kim Ki-duk
Cast:  Lee Jung-jin, Jo Min-su
Synopsis:  It tells of a loan shark who meets a woman claiming to be his mother. He finds becomes attached to her but other motives are in play.
Release date:  September 6

World premiere at the Venice International Film Festival and one of the films shortlisted for the Korea's Oscar selection.




Wedding Scandal


Korean Title: 웨딩스캔들
Director: Sin Dong-yeop

Cast:  Kim Min-joon, Kwak Ji-min, Lee Se-rang, Lee Soo-ho
Synopsis:  A man enters into a fake marriage with a woman but then begins to a realt relationship with her sister. All sorts of complications ensue.

Fighting! Family


Korean Title: 화이팅 패밀리
Director:  Kim Seong-ho
Cast:  Kim Ji-young, Seon Woo-seon, Choi Hee-jin, Lee Myeong-haeng
Synopsis:  An omnibus designed to raise awareness on low birth rates in Korea
Release date:  September 13

Commissioned by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.

Korean Title: 한경직

Cast:  Han Kyung-jik
Synopsis:  A documentary about the life of paster Han Kyung-jik
Release date:  September 13




Too Old Hiphop Kid


Korean Title: 투 올드 힙합 키드
Director:  Jung Dae-gun
Cast:  Kim Min-joon, Kwak Ji-min, Lee Se-rang, Lee Soo-ho
Synopsis:  A documentary about a young man with dreams of becoming a rapper has found himself on a different career path 10 years later but tries to reawaken his dream.

Masquerade


Korean Title: 광해, 왕이 된 남자
Director:  Choo Chang-min
Screenplay: Hwang Jo-yoong
Cast:  Lee Byeong-heon, Ryoo Seung-yong, Han Hyo-joo, Jang Gwan
Synopsis:  When a king fears for his life, he puts a commoner who bears a striking resemblance to him, in his throne.
Release date:  September 20

Lee Byeong-heon's first much-publicized first period role has been getting great early notices and is also ont he shortlist for the Korean Oscar selection committee. May well be an enormous late 2012 hit.

Director:  Lee Soo-jung
Synopsis:  A man enters into a fake marriage with a woman but then begins to a realt relationship with her sister. All sorts of complications ensue.
Release date:  September 27

A documentary which was featured at the Seoul Women's International Film Festival.
